The IMD has forecast the formation of a low-pressure system over the northern Bay of Bengal today, with the existing cyclonic circulation persisting over Lakshadweep. Kerala is expected to experience light to moderate rainfall over the next seven days, with some areas potentially facing heavy downpours.
