Night Flights Over Doon Spark Curiosity
Indian Air Force aircraft were seen flying over Dehradun between 1 am and 3 am. These flights were part of routine military preparedness drills. The loud noise made residents step outside to check the skies.
Indian Army Stops Drone Threats
In another major development, the Indian Army stopped over 50 drones trying to enter India from Pakistan on Thursday night. These drones appeared along areas like Jammu, Samba, Udhampur, Akhnoor, Nagrota, and Pathankot.
Army units used air defence systems like L-70 guns, Schilka systems, and counter-drone technology to stop the threat. The operation ended with no reported casualties.
Citizens Assured, Situation Under Control
People living near the border confirmed hearing drones and defence action. Many expressed trust in the Indian Armed Forces. Schools in some areas closed as a safety step.
Omar Abdullah, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, said he is monitoring the situation.
