A shocking incident took place in northeast Delhi’s New Usmanpur area, where a 22-year-old man reportedly lost 11 kilograms of silver from his scooter after a brief road altercation.
The theft occurred near JPC Hospital on Sunday evening, according to Delhi Police officials.
Silver Stolen During Minor Road Fight
The victim, Ramratan Aggarwal, a resident of Shahdara, told police that he was returning home when his scooter brushed against another two-wheeler carrying two men.
The minor accident led to a short argument between them on the road.
After a few heated words, the two men left the spot.
Aggarwal then continued home, unaware of what had happened during the scuffle.
Theft Discovered After Reaching Home
“When I reached home, I opened the scooter’s storage compartment and found my 11 kg of silver missing,” said Aggarwal in his complaint.
The silver was reportedly kept under the seat of his scooter.
Police believe the accused stole the silver during the roadside argument.
